Various scholars such as 'AllamahShadha'ee and 'AllamahAbu BakribnMihran collected, instead of seven, ten readings in one book. Thereupon, the term, "al-Qira'at al-Asharah" or "Ten Readings" became famous. In these ten readings, the readings by the following three were also included in addition to those of the seven mentioned before.

Each Imam has two narrators or two known Imams who have passed on reading from the particular Imam.

(1) Abu Ja'far Yazeed ibn al-Qa'qa' (d 130 ah):
His Qira’at became more famous in Madinah al-Tayyibah. His two narrators were Ibn Wardan and ibn Jumaz.

(2) Ya'qub ibn Ishaq al-Hadrami (d 205 ah):
His Qira’at was famous mostly in Basrah. His two narrators were Ruwais and Ruh.

(3) Khalaf ibn Hisham (d 205 ah):
Who is also a transmitter of the rendition of Hamzah (among the seven Qurra). His Qira’at was common mostly in Kufah. His two narrators were Ishaaq and Idrees.
