ISSUE IN TIRMIDHI
In the book of Tirmidhi,chapter of [ma ja aa fe fadhl let tahur],from [wa fil baab] where Imam Tirmidhi states who else has narrated the hadeeth he mentions the name of [ as sunaabih].
The question I would like to pose to my respected brothers is who does Imam Tirmidhi refer to as [As Sunaabih]?

Answer to Who is As Sunaabih?
1- Abdullah as Sunaabihi { He is a Sahaabi}
2- Abdur rehman bin ghusaila abu abdillah as sunaabihi { He is a tabiee}
3- As Sunaabih bin al a'mar al ahmasee { He is Sahaabi}
Now lets find out what the respective scholars have to state on who AS SUNAABIH is?
1. Imam Malik has included the first name in one of his narrations to the prophet.
2. Imam Bukhari states that Imam Malik has made a mistake in this issue and further states that the first one does not exist at all.
3. Imam Bukhari,Imam Tirmidhi and others agree that there is only 2 of them,the 2nd and the 3rd one.
4. Sheikh Ahmad Shakir has written a book " AT TAREEQATUL WAADIHA FE TUNBEENUS SUNAABIHA" , in which he agrees with the opinion of Imam Malik.
5. Saad bin Laythee also agrees with Imam Malik.
In conclusion the most popular view is that of Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmidhi.
