ISSUE IN TIRMIDHI

After the chapter of باب النهي عن البول قائما ,there is a chapter after that by the name of [ ما جاء من الرخصة في ذلك ]. In this chapter after و في الباب there are 2 sanads mentioned. The question I would like to pose to my respective brothers is that why has Imam Tirmidhi preferred one over the other?

There are two isnaads in this chapter,they are as follows:-

الاعمش و منصور وعبيدة الضبي عن ابي وائل عن حذيفة

حماد و عاصم عن ابي وائل عن المغيرة ابن شعبة

1- Imam Tirmidhi has preferred the first version of this hadeeth over the second as stated in his book.
2- The second version of this hadeeth is in Sunan Ibn Majah.
3- Shu'bah went to Imam Mansoor and he preferred the first version,Mansoor was stronger in narration than A'mash and Aasim who were also students of Abu waail. Aasim stated that اعمش ما حفظه ,his memory is weak and my memory is stronger then his.
4- Some of the Muhadditheen have stated that these two isnaads are 2 separate reports,this is a view slightly differing from the others.
5- Ibn Hajar states that when it comes to the issue of preferring one over the other,the first one is preferred.
6- There are other opinions which are stated in the respective books but can differ based on proofs.
