Always quote the primary reference

Post  al-'Abd on Fri Dec 17, 2010 10:17 pm

A sincere brother once advised me, which i'm sure is useful for everyone particularly newly graduates:

When quoting any article, always be sure that you state the primary reference . Do not refer it towards yourself or make it look like your own research and invention, as this would become secondary reference, and academically a secondary reference is heavily frowned upon and is a strong case of plagiarism.

Any researcher who is found to do such can be criticised immensely and his future work can be rejected on the grounds of it.
Whatever, you mention it has to be first hand.
