surah taha verse 87
قَالُواْ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا
Does this mean that those who went against their promise to Musa AS were forced to do so as in they had no control over what they were doing what so ever?
Although it could mean we never went against the promise on our own acoord but we went acoording to what Samiri said, but they still did have free will, and them having free will apparently goes against the verse. Or is it possible that they were giving Musa a pathetic excuse as people usally do when they get into a sticky situation.
