I have a question which always crops up in my mind whenever i recite the following two Aayaat. Question

In the first verse (surah anbiyaa:91), the mu'annath dhameer at the end of the sentence فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهَا is clearly pointing towards Maryam (AS); however, in the second verse (At-Tahrim:12), the wording is فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهِ, so I was wondering, what is the muthakkar dhameer referring to?

And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples. (Anbiyaa 91)

And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefore We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient. (At-Tahrim 12)

It refers to فرج, ie. The روح was blown into her in the normal manner except it was بدون توسط أب.

I will check to make sure.
The following book is very useful for searching Ayaat of The Quraan:

Al Mu'jamul Mufahras Li Alfaazil Quraanil Kareem by Sheikh Muhammad Fuaad Abdul Baqee (publisher Dar Ihyaa it turathil Arabi, Beirut).

Just choose a prominent word in the Ayah and search.
It uses dictionary format and shows words in its different grammer forms with the Surah and verse number.
An excellent reference for searching Ayaat of Quraan for bayans etc.

And Allah knows best

ps.Maryam radiallahu anha is better than Maryam AS(Mufti Faruk saheb)

jazakallah for that...so a better tarjuma for فرج would be "womb", right?

p.s i have that kitaab at home, and you're right, it's very useful for bayaans and stuff!

A fantastic website for everyone needing to reference verses from the Qur'an. It allows you to search the Qur'an using the Arabic original even if you don't have Arabic script installed on your PC, as an Arabic keyboard pops up when you hover over the al-bahth fil-aayaat bar on the top right of the page. You just click the letters you want and press enter, and the search engine finds everywhere in the Qur'an they appear in that sequence. You can also check the translation, Arabic tafsir (a choice between Ibn Kathir, Qurtubi, Jalain, & Tabari), and choose to hear/download audio from almost 50 Qurraa' with any given verse. And incase you feel like doing a bit of online tilawah, they've also got actual mus'haf pages from the Madinan caligraphy Qur'an as a double-page image. You can turn pages as you read just like the real thing. And these are just some of the features of this amazing site. I'll let you discover the rest for yourself.
