The Autobiography of Malcolm X (Penguin Modern Classics)
Author-Malcolm X Publisher-Penguin Classics ISBN0141185430 Paperback 528 pages
A book that has had a profound influence on many Muslims in the west including some of our shuyukh.
This is ultimately an extraordinary journey of an exceptional individual. From a life of crime to spiritual enlightenment through Islam. This book is worth buying just to read the letter Malcolm X wrote to the west when on the Hajj pilgrimage.
What strikes me every time I read the book is how Malcolm Xs was guided to the prophetic example at a time when Islamic resources were virtually nonexistent.
Please remember me in your dua's
